About This Quote

In your usual state of consciousness, there is a separate quale experience of everything you observe. But when you transcend into the domain of absolute divinity, all your qualia get mixed up. It seems like an impossible paradox, but it’s true. The quale is the quality of something. It’s not a thing that exists separately from the object that has it (like a color or taste or smell).

Rather, your experience of the qualia is part of what makes that object what it is. When you transcend into the domain of absolute divinity, all your qualia get mixed up. This means that there is no separateness between you and all other things in the universe (or even God if you believe in such things). They are all part of the same thing, and as such they are subject to the same laws and conditions as you are. The statement above can be interpreted in several ways: Perspective: The idea that our normal mode of consciousness is limited and we only see things from our own perspective and nothing else.

We take ourselves for granted and don't realize how small we really are compared to everything else in the universe. We only see what we want to see and do not see what we don't want to see. We perceive ourselves as separate from everything else which means we don't perceive ourselves as part of everything else which means we take ourselves for granted and don't realize how small we really are compared to everything else in the universe.

When we transcend into the domain of absolute divinity, all our qualia get mixed up. This means that there is no separateness between us and everything else in the universe and then we become aware that we are part of everything else in the universe which then allows us to appreciate ourselves more than ever before by taking pride in our existence instead of taking ourselves for granted which means we stop taking ourselves for granted and realize how small we really are compared to everything else in the universe. Perspective: If we can't understand reality through our five senses then how can we understand reality through another sense? For example: If I cannot see with my eyesight then I will never be able to see with my "sixth sense"(which would be called "Empathy"). The way I can understand reality through my sixth sense would be by reading people's thoughts and feelings by use type empathy which allows me to feel with others instead of just experiencing their physical senses.
